Adulthood in disguise

Another belief of mine; that everyone else my age is an adult, whereas I am merely in disguise. ~ Margaret Atwood

I’m not sure I do disguise very well. I don’t think I do adulthood very well. The boring, staid life of an adult never called to me. Though with age I have taken on the trappings. A job. Responsibilities. Chronologically I may be grouped with adults. Outwardly I look the part. Sometimes. But inwardly I feel the imposter. In an alien land.
