Local Legends Walk of Fame

What’s that? As I exited the Hulman building and crossed the street, I noticed a procession of stars in the sidewalk. Think Hollywood Stars. Only these were for local stars. Local men and women who made the hometown of Terra Haute, Indiana proud.

I was initiated into the Walk of Fame at Wabash and 7th Street, but other walks apparently exist in Terre Haute. This particular walk called out names I knew and introduced me to ones didn’t. Some I knew hailed from or had connections to Terre Haute. Others I had no idea had Indiana roots.

I hear another series of stars exists at 5th and Wabash. As of 2014, there were 37 stars. I sense a hunt ensuing to find all of them.
